The Theory of Pacquiao

By: Percy R. Lugue

This comic strip first came out in Manila Bulletin on November 13, 2010 just when Manny Pacquiao was preparing for the Super Welterweight Division. I used the letters of Pacquiao to represent each of Manny's wins in different weight division. Albeit the Seventh was still premature and somewhat prophetic, I have to audaciously bring it out in this comic strip because I know Manny will prove to be victorious or his surname isn't Pacquiao. BTW,Pacquiao or Pakyaw in Filipino means to hoard... and oh did Manny hoarded all those winnings.

The Promise

By: Percy R. Lugue

"There is more than enough room in my Father's home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?"

Happy Halloween

By: Percy R. Lugue

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, ...

Psalm 91:1-16
